St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, Frisco, Texas sends team to San Felipe, Cabanaconde

The team logo

Under the leadership of Todd Attwood – on his seventh trip to Cabanaconde – a team came to Peru the week of October 16 to continue to build the San Felipe Mission.  This mission church is perched on the edge of the Colca Canyon.  To get there you fly to Lima, then Arequipa and then travel by bus for four to six hours.  After lost bags, delayed people and some travel hitches we all met in Arequipa on Sunday morning and the team left on Monday morning for a week of work.  Todd has been leading teams to continue building the Mission.  The mission is under the spiritual direction of Padre Alejandro Mesco.  This time Bishop and Judith Godfrey met the team and traveled with them.

Thanks team for a wonderful contribution. Ian +
